The men’s and women’s teams of M.S. Ramaiah Institute of Technology (MSRIT) (Bengaluru) have won the All India Inter Collegiate Basketball Tournament: REVELS Cup 2016. It was conducted by the Manipal Institute of Technology from March 8-12, 2016 at the MIT, Manipal Basketball grounds.
Teams from Trichy, Vellore, Chennai, Coimbatore, Mangalore, NITK Suratkal, Bengaluru and Manipal participated in this 4 day league cum knockout tournament.
The finals of the REVELS Cup 2016 was played on March 12,2016.

This is the first time both the men and women of MSRIT basketball have won an All India Tournament.
