A perfect pass from the Passing Station in the 2nd weekend of the Jr. NBA festival.
More than 900 kids from Kottayam, Pathanamthitta and Alapuzha turned out for the Reliance Foundation and the NBA’s second Reliance Foundation Jr. NBA Weekend Festival, an extension of the Reliance Foundation Jr. NBA programme, on Saturday, November 21, at the YMCA, Alapuzhai (Kerala). This was only the second-ever such weekend basketball festival for children between the ages of 6-10.

The enthusiastic children introduced by NBA coaches to five basic basketball skills stations: passing, dribbling, shooting, footwork, and game-play. The camp was led by coaches from NBA Joa Rocha (Portugal), Jedh from USA done in two sessions.

The festival was free for participants. Boys and girls between the ages of 6-10 years in Kerala will have one more opportunities to take part in similar festivals: On November 27 at Little Flower High School in Koratty, Alapuzhai will also witness regional matches of Jr NBA programme from 23rd to 26th November at the same venue with competitions on 5on5 and 3on3 amd hot shot competitions.
