Shireen Limaye
Pune basketball players Shireen Limaye and Siddhant Shinde have been conferred with the prestigious Parshuramiya Krida Puraskar, 2015 by Sir Parshurambhau (SP) College, Pune for their national and international basketball achievements. Along with them coaches Kishor Goriwale, Lalit Nahata and Anand Kulkarni also got awards for their work in basketball. Promising young basketball player Shruti Sheriger too was conferred with an award.

SP College is an old college in the city like Ferguson college. Through the Parshuramiya sports group, they have been conferring this award for many years to sportsmen, coaches, sports organizers and PT teachers from different sports.
Ex India cricketer Chandu Borde was the chief guest for the occasion. Incidentally, Shireen’s own mother Ms Suvarna was conferred the very same award many years ago.
