The 32nd Maharashtra Youth Basketball Championship for under 16 boys and girls is being held at Naigaon Police ground, Indian Gymkhana Club and Khalsa College, Mumbai from 19 – 23 May 2015 to select the Maharashtra State Youth boys and girls teams.
The games are seeing participation from 52 teams in the boys and girls sections combined. The camp for the state team will be held immediately post the championships, which will act as a preparatory camp for the u-16 National Championship to be held in Guwahati from June 11th to June 18th.

The tournament was inaugurated by Member of Parliament and President, Maharashtra State Basketball Association Mrs Poonam Mahajan. Also present were Mr Kesar Khalid, Astt Commissioner of Police,  Mr Satish Pawar, Sports officer, Mumbai Police, Mr Krishnan Muthukumar, Secretary MSBA and other office bearers of MSBA.
