Bengaluru, December 10, 14: In what could be the closest summit clash in all the matches across India of the Indian School Basketball League, Bishop Cotton won a thriller facing Kumaran’s Childen Home in the finals in their home ground in Bengaluru on Wednesday.
With every passing quarter the match was swinging like a pendulum in either of the team’s favour. But the hosts boys ensured that they made the most of home advantage when it mattered the most to seal the deal by 46-45 in their favour. Bhushan scored 25 for the winners and also took home the MVP award.
In the girls category, Mallya Aditi International School sealed their berth for national finals in New Delhi beating Nirmala Rani convincingly by 42-30.
