Ludhiana, December 8, 2014: Men’s team from S.D. Government college won the men’s title while the Government college A team won women’s crown on Day 10 of Indian College Basketball League (ICBL) organized by Basketball Federation of India (BFI) and Punjab Basketball Association in collaboration with IMG Reliance (IMG-R) at Guru Nanak Girls College in Ludhiana on Monday.

S.D. Government College kept their unblemished record in the league intact with a dominating performance in the final. Aman from Lyallpur Khalsa scored 43 of the 43 points for his side, but still ended up on the losing side. S.D. Govt beat Lyallpur Khalsa by 76-43.

In the women’s final, the winner and runners up was to be the Government College as both the teams were from the same educational institute. In the end, A team of Govt College trumped B team by 55-39 to reserve their seats for the national finals in New Delhi beginning December 15, 2014.

The city champions also clean swept the individual awards in both men’s and women’s category with S.D. Government men’s & Government College winning all three awards.
