Bengaluru, November 29, 2014: Delhi Public School failed to make of the home advantage as they lost their semifinal fixture on Day 13 in the Indian School Basketball League’s Premier League organized by Basketball Federation of India (BFI) and Karnataka Basketball Association in collaboration with IMG Reliance (IMG R) in Bengaluru on Saturday.

Delhi Public School boys played Kumarans Children Home in the first semifinal and lost the nail-biting contest by just two points. At the end of the fourth quarter, the scoreline read 45-43 in favour of the Kumarans Children Home.

Bishop’s Cotton meanwhile had a cakewalk against St. Joseph’s Indian High School in the second semifinal. Riding on Bhushan’s 16 points, Bishop Cotton won the contest 42-14.

In the girls category, Nirmala Rani became the first finalist beating Mary Immaculate 27-24 in a closely fought contest.
