Hyderabad, November 24, 2014: Loyola College ensured that they ruled their turf and eventually the city on the final day of Premier League of Indian College Basketball League organized Basketball Federation of India (BFI) and Telangana Basketball Association in collaboration with IMG-Reliance at Loyola College in Hyderabad on Monday.
The city championship matches begin with the women’s category. Riding on MVP Mounica Goud’s 15 points, hosts Loyola Academy trounced St. Francis 47-19 in a one-sided affair. Narayanamma IT stood third beating Villa Marie 25-15 in the 3rd-4th place fixture.
Men’s team from Loyola made it a golden double for hosts. Facing VNR EC in the finals, Loyola scripted a perfect end for the hosts winning the fixture 66-47 with their highest scorer Sri Ganesh Patil (30) also winning MVP in the men’s category. AV College won the 3rd-4th place fixture against Bhavans VC by 38-29.

Andhra Pradesh has been bifurcated into Andhra Pradesh and telangana many months back and Hyderabad is in telangana and ICBL being conducted in Hyderabad is by telangana basketball association and not by AP basketball association, correct it if possible.
