Patna, 18th November 2014; A.N College defeated IIT Patna 51-20 to proceed to the Challengers League final of the Indian College Basketball League organized by Basketball Federation of India (BFI) in collaboration with IMG Reliance (IMG R) at BMPS, Patna. Dheeraj Ranjan top scored with 24 points to help A.N. College post this convincing victory.
Facing A.N College in the final will be B.D College who defeated Shyam Nandan Sahay College 53-40. Chandan led B.D College and scored 25 points while Shorab Ahmed’s 12 points failed to inspire S.N.S College.
In the girls category, Patna Women’s College Senior defeated Patna Women’s College Junior 26-17 to enter the finals. In the other semi final, girls from IIT Patna compensated for boys loss and defeated M.M College Senior 22-16 to seal their spot in the finals.
