Ahmedabad, November 18, 2014: Hosts St. Xavier’s, Loyola’s boys team sealed a final spot in the Challengers League of Indian School Basketball League, organized by Basketball Federation of India (BFI) in collaboration with IMG Reliance (IMG-R) here on Tuesday.
The home team beat My Own High School 60-50 riding on Devansh’s 18 points in the first semifinal. Their opponents in the final St. Kabir, Naranpura beat DPS Bopal 54-43 thanks to Sanjay’s 20 points.
But the girls from DPS Bopal bettered their boys team’s show by sealing a spot in the final beating Anand Niketan 27-22. They will take on the winner of Mount Carmel and Eklavya, the second semifinal which is scheduled to be played on November 19.

Boys: My Own High School (Jigar 14) lost to St. Xavier’s Loyola (Devansh 18) 50-60; St. Kabir’s Nanpura (Sanjay 20) beat DPS Bopal (Parantap 23) 54-43
Girls: Anand Niketan Shilai (Navya 12) lost to DPS Bopal (Charmi 7) 22-27
