Hyderabad November 7, 2014: The boys team from Future Kids lost their first match in the Indian School Basketball League organized by the Basketball Federation of India (BFI) in collaboration with IMG-Reliance (IMG-R) at HPS, Begumpet on Day 10 on Friday.
Playing their eighth match in the league, Future Kids were beaten by Delhi Public School 38-27. Hosts HPS beat Gitanjali 32-29 in a close encounter thanks to Abhinay’s 13 points. In the girls category, St. Anthony’s High School beat Holy Family 23-16 to register their first ever win the league.
At Johnson Grammar, Oakridge International continued their dominating performance in the league beating Chirec PS 52-50 to go unbeaten in eight games. Hosts Johnson Grammar had it easy as they got a walkover as their opponents DRS International failed to turn up.
In the girls category, Chirec PS beat Future Kids 37-14 while Oakridge International maintained their Pool B top position via 36-19 win over Nasr Scool.
