Hyderabad, October 22, 2014: Teams from Oakridge International & Future Kids put up a dominant performance on Day 3 of the Premier League of Indian School Basketball League organized by Basketball Federation of India in collaboration with IMG-Reliance at HPS, Begumpet and Johnson Grammar School on Wednesday.
Oakridge boys team with the help of Harsha’s 19 points beat Indus International by 55-26. With this win they have maintained an unbeaten run in the league and are at the top of the Pool A table with six points. Immediately next the girls from Oakridge entered the court to put up a dominant display against St. Joseph. With Sharon’s 17 points, they beat St. Joseph 41-6.
Boys from Future Kids, in the third fixture of the day, beat St. Andrews 51-33. This loss for St. Andrews is their third in three games. The girls team of Future Kids followed in the footsteps of their boys counterpart registering a convincing 35-14 win over St. Anthony.
Meanwhile at Johnson Grammar School, hosts’ boys team were handed a 53-28 beating at the hands of Chirec School, their second defeat in as many matches. Geetanjali beat Delhi Public School 35-24 in the second fixture their. In the girls category, DPS beat Nasr School 25-18 to go on top of the Pool B table while Chirec School’s 39-22 win against St. Francis ensured the team remained on top of Pool A standings.
