MSRIT (Boys) and RVCE (Girls) have won the 9th Dr. M.S. Ramaiah Memorial State Level Inter Collegiate Basketball Tournament for Men & Women which was being held on September 18,2014 at the Gymkhana grounds at IISc campus.
The final results of the Inter Collegiate Basketball Tournament is given below-Boys Finals:
MSRIT 55 ( Chandan 12, Melver 8, Anmol 10) beat RVCE 38 (Sachin 8, Nikhilesh 8)
MSRIT cliched the title by winning all the matches in the league and RVCE were declared runners up after losing the last final league match to MSRIT.
Girls Final League:
RVCE 43 (Sindhu 13, Sonali 10) beat PESIT 30 (Anusha 10)
MSRIT 33 (Kirthi 14, Rishika 8) beat BMSCE 25(Anchal 14)
In the Girls category – RVCE clinched the title by winning all the matches in the league, while MSRIT after having lost one match to RVCE were declared Runners.
