SBM Jain College Men

Underlining their dominance in college hoops in the state of Karnataka, SBM Jain College emerged the winners in both the men & women sections of the BFI IMG Reliance College League 2013-14. They will now represent Karnataka at the National League Championship that will be played in Delhi from April 30th to May 4th 2014.

In both the categories, the winners received a cash prize of Rs 50000/-, the runners up took home Rs 30000/- and third placed teams secured Rs 20000/- , for a total prize money totalling Rs 200000/-. Visu and Simonelle, both from SBM College, were named the best players in the tournament in the men and women sections respectively.

Sindhi College Principal Dr. Prakash B Nayak and Vice Principal Prof. Pallavi were the guests of honour and distributed the prizes.

Third place match

Men
1. St Joseph Commerce College 59 (Venkatesh 17) bt New Horizon Engg College 47 (Watan 19) HT 29-27.

Third place in women section is Mount Carmel College.
